- How we test a new glaze
We fire small tiles at different thicknesses and on different clay bodies before using a recipe on a full piece.
- What to wear to a pottery class
Choose clothes you do not mind getting muddy and keep sleeves short or rolled up. Aprons are provided.
- Firing explained
Pieces are fired twice. The first firing hardens the clay and the second melts the glaze into a glassy surface.
